We visited the Natural Bridge during Kristina's birthday weekend at the B&B.

The Natural Bridge is like Wall Drug or South of the Boarder - there's signs for it 100 miles in either direction. They have a whole industry built around it - a wax museum, a haunted house, and Foamhenge.

The giant caterpiller that was hanging out at the bridge.

The bridge, in all it's glory. Route 11 goes over it. It's a 4 lane highway.

Another shot of the bridge. The bit suspended is around 36 thousand tons. It's about 100 feet wide, 215 feet high (55 feet higher than Niagra Falls) 40 feet thick, and spans 90 feet. The rocks are Ordovician, and about 500 million years old.

Foamhenge. There aren't words to describe it.

Foamhenge.

Unfortunately, it was cl-osed to the public. (Renovations apparently.)
